Sweardle

It is safe to say that this game is not for children. It resembles a traditional word guessing game, but it is more of a parody of the classic version. Sweardle's subject matter is a bit more spicy. You will have to guess swear words. If you want to test your vocabulary of sharp words, open and play.

✅ How to play

The goal of the game is to guess a curse word consisting of 4 letters. There are four attempts to find the secret word. Enter the letters in the squares and wait for the result. Your guesses can be any four-letter words, not only rude ones.

Use the colored markers for the next attempt. The green color is the letter that is in the word and the player guessed its location. The letters that are part of the secret word are highlighted in yellow, but you need to think about their position. The gray letters are not present in the secret word, so there is no need to use them in the next attempt. Despite the theme of Sweardle, train your memory, improve your logic, improve your guessing. Analyze the clues and look for the answer.

✅ Daily and Unlimited

In Daily mode everyone gets the same word, and a new one appears at midnight. In Unlimited mode a new word is ready as soon as you finish. After every game you learn a little about the answer: where the word is used and what else it can mean. Your statistics and streaks are saved in your browser.

The answer is always one of 50 words from the list, from mild ones like DARN and HECK to the strongest. Of course, the purpose of the game is not to offend, but to entertain and reduce tension, so the list has no racist, sexist, homophobic or ableist slurs. If such a topic is unacceptable for you, choose another game, for example Wordle Unlimited.

The original Sweardle appeared in early 2022, and its author wished to remain anonymous. Its daily puzzle is still at sweardle.com. This page is our own version, with its own list of words, a fact about every word and an Unlimited mode.
